Opportunities for Young Investigators
EAS provides younger, upcoming researchers a prestigious platform from which to launch or progress their international careers. A strong contingent of senior scientists is engaged to interact with and mentor the next generation, in the popular and well attended Science at a Glance sessions. This interaction is a source of great inspiration and encouragement, and will ultimately strengthen research in the field.
Young Investigator Awards for outstanding publications – Call for nominations is closed
These annual EAS prizes for young scientists are intended to recognize distinction shown by publications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of atherosclerosis and linked metabolic disturbances. There are two prizes of € 2000 each. The Awards will be presented at the EAS 2023 Congress Opening Ceremony. Read more about the awards >
Young Investigator Fellowships – application is closed
As a measure of the Society’s commitment to support the career development of young scientists, EAS offers Young Investigator Fellowships to selected abstract and oral communication presenters aged 35 or under on a competitive basis. Read more about Young Investigator Fellowships >
Travel grants to EAS Congress – application is closed
